
The SUB, to bypass ureteral obstruction in veterinary patients
The Subcutaneous Ureteral ByPass device is a unique system designed for use in veterinary patients, dogs and cats, to bypass a ureteral obstruction when traditional surgery or interventional techniques are contraindicated.
The SUB consists of a locking loop pigtail catheter that is placed in the kidney, a fenestrated and cuffed catheter placed in the bladder and a titanium shunting access port that connects the 2 catheters.
The SUB is packaged as a sterile kit with surgical suggestions and instructions for use.
